What is the Registry of Unmet Needs?
The Registry of Unmet Needs is a first-come, first-served list maintained by Alliance Health to keep track of child and people waiting for the NC Innovations Waiver.

Since services from the NC Innovations Waiver take years to start, I strongly encourage parents of children who have an intellectual and/or developmental disability to contact Alliance to add your child to the Registry of Unmet Needs now. To learn more about the IDD eligibility review process or the Registry of Unmet Needs, call Alliance’s Access and Information Center at (800) 510-9132.

Please note, Orange County has disengaged Cardinal Innovations and is now with Alliance Health as its Local Management Entity/Managed Care Organization (LME/MCO). This transition to Alliance occured on Dec. 15, 2021.
