2016 Summer Camps and Programs Fair for Kids with Special Needs

It is freezing outside, but guess what - it is time to start making plans for summer camp! This year, the Autism Society of NC Durham County Chapter and GCF Family Support Services will be hosting a Summer Camps and Programs Fair for the families of children with special needs. It is the perfect opportunity to learn more about which camps and programs welcome kids with autism. Many camps start registration as early as February, so the time to decide on summer plans is rapidly approaching.

The event will include camps from around the Triangle area, including Camp Royall, Camp Shelanu, Emerge: A Child's Place, Reality Ministries, and many, many more. A representative from First In Families of North Carolina will also be on hand to share information on camp scholarships.

Please note that the Autism Society of NC Orange Chatham Chapter is not hosting a camp fair this year, so Orange and Chatham families, please plan to attend this event in Durham!

When: Thursday, February 18th, 2016 from 4-7pm (NEW DATE!)
Where: Watts St. Baptist Church, 800 Watts Street, Durham, NC
To Register: Call Beth Hutson at 919-667-1067 or email her.

Refreshments will be available. There will not be childcare provided.

Download the flier for more details, and be sure to tell a friend!
