Therapeutic Social Groups for Girls!

Autism spectrum disorders can look very different in girls, and there are precious few resources out there specifically for girls on the spectrum. That is why it is exciting news that new therapeutic social groups for girls are starting up at Big Dog Pediatric Psychology in Chapel Hill. The groups will take place at the home office of Susan Moschos, Ph.D. Visit our Therapists page for more information on Dr. Moschos and her services. Now for the details:

Groups will provide a supportive setting in which children learn social, problem-solving, and friendship skills. Groups will be flexible in terms of children served (e.g. age and diagnosis) as well as attendance, however focus will be on serving children with neurodevelopmental disorders.

Elementary Girls Group Night: Wednesdays from 5:30 - 6:30pm (starting 10/23/13)

Elementary Boys Group Night: Tuesdays from 5:30 - 6:30pm (starting 1/7/14)

Location: 249 Tobacco Farm Way, Chapel Hill 27516 (Briar Chapel neighborhood in Chatham County)

Cost: $20 per session

For more details, contact Dr. Moschos at (412) 980-4121 or dr.moschos@gmail.com.
