Free Printable: Back to School Checklist for Special Needs Students {#1 in a Series}

It is hard to believe, but Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools start up in just over a month. The transition back to school is an especially big deal for us this year because our son will be starting Kindergarten. Getting him prepared has been a big job - there is a lot to do to ensure that he is ready for the change...and also to make sure that the school is ready to receive our unique learner! We have done a lot (including the 7 - yes 7 - trips I have made to the new school), but there is more to be done before the end of August.

As we start thinking about what is left to do to make the transition to elementary school a good one, naturally I decided to make a list (those of you who know me well know that list-making is a given for me). We know that we are not the only ones who need to prepare their students before major transitions, so we decided to make a free printable checklist for our readers. Please download it and feel free to share!  This is the first post in our back to school series - stay tuned for more tips and free printables in the coming weeks.
