Autism Society of NC Durham Summer Camps Fair Tonight!

The Autism Society of North Carolina Durham County chapter will be holding its Summer Camps and Programs Fair tonight!

February 26, 2013
6:30 - 8:30pm
Watts Baptist Church, 800 Watts Street, Durham, NC 27701 (see map)

Over 20 representatives will be present, sharing details about over 40 summer camps and programs that welcome individuals across the autism spectrum. Most of the programs are local, but there will also be information about programs from the mountains and the coast, including overnight camps. A wide array of programs will be represented, with something for all types of interests and levels of need. First In Families of Durham County will also be at the fair to discuss options for camp scholarships.

Food will be provided, courtesy of Subway. R.s.v.p.s are not mandatory, but are requested to get a head count for food. Please respond to: durhamautism@gmail.com.

Children are welcome to attend the meeting, however no childcare will be provided.

This is a great opportunity to learn about the many programs, camps, and activities for the summer! Be sure to check out our previous post about the Autism Society of North Carolina Orange Chatham chapter's Summer Options Fair for a comprehensive list of local summer camps for children and teens on the spectrum.
