First in Families Time Bank

Looking for a fun way to connect with the community? Consider joining the First in Families Time Bank. Time banking is a way for people to exchange time and talents without using any money. Every time dollar is of equal value, which fits in nicely with the FIF belief that all people, including those with disabilities, have talents to share. To give you an idea of how time banking works, let's say that you spent two hours volunteering for FIF - you would earn two time dollars in your account. You can then spend those time dollars on something offered by another member of the time bank - maybe you want to take a yoga lesson or need someone to teach you how to use your iPad - if it is a service offered by another member, you can spend your time dollars on it. Simple, right?
